"18 years ago, I sat down to design my very first fabric collection. I didn't know where that exercise would lead me or that it would completely change my life forever. I poured everything I had into those drawings without a contract, a guarantee, or a company that wanted to produce what I came up with. That first collection was something of a prayer, a meditation, a hope for a future I didn't have the experience to conceive of yet. That collection was called Full Moon Forest, and it was the first step on a path that has consumed my every waking moment since.

When I realized that I was again sitting down to design a fabric collection but now for the 50th time, I felt appreciation wash over me. With this new collection, I want to honor where I began and what I have gained along the way.This is a thank you letter for the last 18 years, to the manufacturers, retailers, and quilters that have supported me along the way. Full Moon Forest II is a great bookend to my first 50 collections and an awesome springboard for the next 50."
