SEWING REVOLUTION - 2-day Embroidery Workshop

Australian presenter, author and tutor, Kym Goldup, co-owner and co-inventor of the Sewing Revolution Products, will be presenting the very popular Sewing Revolution Ruler presentation and Inspirational Trunk show followed up with a hands on workshop.  Please note that this workshop is presenting and using product that can be used on any brand machine, sewing and embroidery.  We bring in our machines because it allows for you to come in without having to bring your machine, allowing you to simply focus on the project and the presentation.

Each participant will go home with their personal sewing/embroidery project and many ideas to continue using the rulers for future projects.

We'll set up The Quilters Studio's classroom with embroidery machines and you will learn:

• Centering designs to cut a particular size square.
• Using the HP foot and plate for a perfect scant ¼“seam.
• How to get a perfect Double Mitre every time.
• Using the Create a Tilt ruler to have tilted squares with little or no waste of fabric.
• Stitch seams to get perfect point matching.
• How to use the 5/7 Sewing Revolution.
• Using the triple stitch as a quilting stitch.
• Quilting design with the DXD Ruler.
